For new applications, use the AV485. M3-1 and M3-2 encoders have been replaced by the enhanced model AV485. The AV485 requires the existing wires to be moved to the new mating connector terminal block. AV485 is a severe duty encoder and includes onboard diagnostics and full wiring protection.

M3 encoders are also available as hollow shaft models: M3-(3-9, A-J).

M3-1 or M3-2 models do not offer user renewal parts. Diagnostics and limited repairs are available.
